Sam "Snap" Wilson was a common criminal, granted the power to communicate and telepathically link with birds by the Red Skull using the Cosmic Cube (Tesseract), on Exile Island. The Skull also used the Cube to rewrite Wilson's history, making it so that he was a amicable social worker until he was lured to Exile Island. The Red Skull sought to manipulate Wilson against his archfoe, Captain America, but Wilson turned against the Skull, becoming Cap's modern-day partner Falcon. He used to possess a wing-harness that could connect to his costume, but he now uses a pair of hard-light wings given to him by fellow Avenger Black Panther. Falcon's falcon Redwing has a special telepathic link with him, and Falcon can command and see through the eyes of Redwing.
Falcon has black hair, a white mask with a yellow marking on the forehead area, a red jumpsuit, a white collar, a white belt, and yellow-brown gloves.
Wings: Falcon can throw feathers of his hard-light wings as lethal dagger-like projectiles with which he can kill enemies.
